AD Boats in Solin, Croatia, has agreed to build up to 70 boats during 2011, 75 during 2012 and 100 boats yearly thereafter for the Norwegian company HANSVIK BAT AS.
The client has for some time negotiated with different European boatbuilders, and in the end selected AD Boat as partner. AD Boat has been selected because of their competitiveness, product quality and the competence and capacity. So far, the boat model Hansvik 630 Comfortspeed has been produced exclusively in Norway by Hansvik Bat for the Norwegian market. Now also the expertise of Croatian boat producers will be integrated in this model.
With this contract AD Boats enters into production as a professional subsupplier and indirectly serves Northern European markets. The first boats will be delivered in beginning of March, and by the end of July 50 more is expected. Hansvik 630 Comfortspeed is a 6,3m long leisure boat with outboard engine. The model was in 2010 selected as boat of the year at the leasureboat fair in Oslo. These boats are characterized by extremely high quality and very good behaviour in the sea. The different boat models from Hansvik is characterized by their quality, and Hansvik is selling annually more than 300 boats in the Northern European market, where the biggest model has a length of 9,50 m.
The co-operation between AD Boats and Hansvik Bat as has become a reality thanks to the CroNoMar company. CroNoMar is an innovation company based in Sibenik with focus on the Maritime sector. The company was founded by Norwegian government with the aim of identifying, creating, and implementing new business opportunities through projects with Norwegian and Croatian partners. CroNoMar has a business development team of younger Croatian professionals that is led by Malvin Villabo, and this organization is making an excellent progress.
