CroNoMar has been operational in Croatia for 3,5 years. Initial period of CroNoMar work has been sponsored by Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
CroNoMar achievements within 3,5 year history:
• Creation of business relations between Norwegian and Croatian maritime industry, resulting with contracts between Norwegian and Croatian partners in:
- Workboats for the international Aquaculture industry; so far 9 boats have been delivered and contracts for 3 more have been signed
- Serial production of leisure boats with intention of long term contract; 120 boats have been delivered in 2012
• Establishment of Marin Globe company oriented to purchasing and distribution of Croatian maritime equipment all over world
• Establishment of Maritime Innovation Centre in Sibenik – iNavis together with City of Šibenik as co- location of maritime businesses, innovation activities, service providers and offices for business development
• Business Development Courses within iNavis; education and sharing of experience
• Maritime competence brokerage of highlyeducated personnel for foreign customers
• Creation of Marine and Maritime R&D collaboration between relevant institutions both in Norway and in Croatia
