In period from 22-25th October, representative of Croatian Chamber of Commerce in cooperation with Sibenik Chamber of Commerce have organized study tour visit to Brussels for representatives of economic delegation ofSibenik – knin County leaded by County prefect Mr Goran Pauk.
Main objective of study tour was to connect members of the delegation to relevant EU institutions and other business organization and to inform them about latest info in areas of European policies relevant for entrepreneurs, regional development, tourism, environment, employment, education and maritime affairs.
First part of the program has included visit to European Parlament, European Social and Economic Commission, European Regional Commission, relevant directorates of the European Commission including General Commission for entrepreneurs, regional policies, employment, maritime affairs and expansion, as well as visit to Mission of Croatia at EU.
Within framework of second part of the visit, in premises of Chamber, a workshop was held on which economic potential of Sibenik-knin County were represented. On that occasion Ambassador of Croatia in Belgium has introduced audience to bilateral relationships between Croatia and Belgium, CEO of Chamber in Belgium has given short overview of Chamber activities, County Prefect Goran Pauk and Ms Lakoc-Mioc (Chamber Sibenik) have presented potentials of Sibenik-knin County and companies representatives Mr Vjeko Kaleb, director of business zone Podi and Ms Ana Zajc representative of CroNoMar in front of Maritime Innovation Centre in Sibenik - iNavis together with potential business partners and partners organization in Belgium have presented to audience different activities on specific areas of action.
After presentation, small gathering was organized in order to provide opportunity for networking and creation of grounds for cooperation between Croatian and Belgium participants.
